“The Young Actors Space is a phenomenal place for anyone looking to hone their skills in the performing arts. I appreciated the welcoming environment that the lead instructor, Patrick Day, has created. As soon as I stepped inside I was made to feel like family! Through Patrick’s instructions I gained confidence in myself and in my abilities as an actor.

I always enjoyed Patrick’s critiques which usually involved helping me to interpret the scene, my character, or the other characters involved, in a way I had not considered before. This helped me to look deeper into the hidden nuances of emotion and motivations encompassed within the material I was performing; I was increasingly able to personally connect with a scene and was able to make it mine and thus more authentic.

The amount of talent of all those who attend YAS is astounding! I am in complete wonder and awe as to how everyone there is not already famous! With people possessing such an impressive volume of talent.”
